Kenova has welcomed a report from the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee which recognised the importance of a victim focus for legacy investigations.
Addressing the Legacy of Northern Ireland’s Past: the Government’s New Proposals (Interim Report) was published today (Monday, 26 October 2020) which included reference to the praise by victims of Kenova’s approach of ‘establishing positive and trusted engagement with families during its legacy investigations.
A Kenova spokesperson said: ‘We are pleased the report recognises the absolute importance of victims being at the heart of legacy. This must be a meaningful commitment.”
