In April 2019 the Independent Steering Group (ISG) met again for a two-day conference.
Chief Constable Jon Boutcher updated the group on the significant operational progress made since the last meeting in December 2018. The panel were informed that the investigation would soon be in a position to submit a number of preliminary case files to the Public Prosecution Service Northern Ireland for consideration. Due to this being an ongoing criminal investigation It would be inappropriate to disclose further information at this time regarding details of the meeting between the ISG and the Kenova leadership Team.
