On 12 November 2020, a virtual meeting of the Victim Focus Group (VFG) was convened.
During the meeting, Kenova lead, former Chief Constable Jon Boutcher provided members with an update on the Director of Public Prosecutions decision with regards the perjury investigation and some initial feedback from families.
The group was also provided updates on the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee interim findings that were complimentary of Kenova and of the importance of the VFG in building and maintaining trust and confidence.
Mr Boutcher updated members on the progress of the National Police Chiefs' Council Review and the ECHR compliance review conducted by Alyson Kilpatrick.
The VFG continue to provide expertise and advocacy for families and remain an essential part of the oversight and governance of Kenova.
